Works by four Clare students to feature in glór Texaco Children’s Art exhibition

DUBLIN, 27TH MAY 2009 - Works by four Clare students will feature prominently in an exhibition of prize winning paintings from this year's 55th Texaco Children's Art Competition which begins next Wednesday 3 June at the glór Irish Music Centre at Causeway Link, Ennis.

The four featured works are by students Amy McMahon (St Joseph's Secondary School, Tulla), Alana Clancy (St. Canaire's N.S., Shannon), Maggie O'Doherty and Colin Crowley (both from Kilrush Community School).

Open for viewing from 10am to 5pm daily from Monday to Saturday inclusive the exhibition will end on Saturday 27 June. Further details are available on the glór website at www.glor.ie.
