Cork Vision Centre to host Texaco Children’s Art Exhibition

DUBLIN 27 JULY 2009 - The Cork Vision Centre @ St. Peter’s on North Main Street, Cork will be the venue in August for an exhibition of winning paintings from this year's 55th Texaco Children's Art Competition.

The exhibition will begin on Saturday, 1 August and will continue until Friday, 28 August inclusive. Admission is free with doors opening Tuesday - Saturday from 10.00am - 5.00pm daily.

Featured will be all of the 161 award-winning paintings from the 2009 Competition including first, second and third prize winners and twenty special merit award winners in each of seven Competition age categories, as well as one for children attending special needs schools.
