DONEGAL WINNING WORKS FEATURE IN LETTERKENNY EXHIBITION

DUBLIN, 31 MAY 2010 – Letterkenny’s Glebe House & Gallery will host an exhibition of winning paintings in this year’s 56th Texaco Children’s Art Competition which opens on Saturday 29 May.

Featured among the 161 exhibits will be works by two Donegal students - Heather Duff (Loreto Community School, Milford) and Rachel Kenny (Scoil Naomh Fionán, Falcarragh) - both of whom won Special Merit Awards in the 12-13 years age category of the competition.

The exhibition will be officially opened at 3.00pm on Sunday 6 June by renowned artist Brian Ferran, himself a resident of Malin.

It will continue until Tuesday 29th June, opening Saturday-Thursday from 11am to 6.30pm (closed Fridays).
