70th Texaco Children's Art Competition Winners Announced 

The closing date for entries to this year's Competition has now passed and we would like to acknowledge and thank all ​of the young artists who entered and their parents or guardians, their teachers and their school communities for their involvement and participation.

With many thousands of artworks received, this year's entry level has been notable particularly in relation to the quality of work received.

Congratulations to all, but especially to our category winners whose winning artworks are displayed in the 2024 Gallery above.  Each of these artists has been invited to our Awards Ceremony where they will be officially presented with their award prizes and certificates. 

We note in particular this year's overall winner - Charley Bell from Methodist College, Belfast - ​for her coloured pencil artwork entitled 'Anticipation'. ​Charley was the overall winner of last year's Competition too so it is a particularly poignant tribute to her and her artistic talents that she entered again this year and won. She deserves our most heartfelt congratulations.

Congratulations also to those artists that have been awarded a Certificate of Commendation by our judging panel.  Their details will be posted here in the coming weeks and they will receive their Certificates at this time also.
