Welcome to the 69th Texaco Children's Art Competition

Once again, we invite young artists across the island of Ireland to participate in a national celebration of Children's Art as we mark 69 years of the Texaco Children's Art Competition.  Acknowledged as the longest running arts sponsorship in the history of arts sponsoring in Ireland, the Competition has been in existence since 1955 and has enjoyed an unbroken history of success.

The closing date for our Competition is Tuesday, 28th February 2023 and we hope that we will see outstanding creativity and talent reflected in the finest and widest choice of entries that we receive.

To submit an entry to the Competition, please refer to the 'How To Enter' section above.

In line with General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR), each entrant is required to complete an Application Form for each entry that they submit to the Competition.  A maximum of two entries is permitted per individual artist.

Please download a School/Art School Application Form or a Home Application Form and securely attach it to each entry that you submit.  Where artwork is submitted without an Application Form being fully completed, it cannot progress to the preliminary judging stage of the Competition.

Source imagery must also be noted as failure to do so may result in disqualification.

If you have any queries regarding the information above, please email Bronagh Carron at texacochildrensart@valero.com

We wish you every success.
