67th Texaco Children's Art Competition  Winners Announced

The closing date for this year's Texaco Children's Art Competition passed earlier this year and we would like to thank all of the young artists who entered and their parents or guardians, their teachers and their schools for their involvement and participation in the Competition.

We received many thousands of artworks and the entry level was notable particularly in relation to the quality of work that was submitted.

Congratulations to all, but especially to our category winners whose winning artworks are displayed in the 2021 Art Gallery above.   We note in particular this year's overall winner, P.J. Doherty from St. Eunan's College in Letterkenny, Co. Donegal for his work entitled 'Me and My Dad'.   Well done P.J.!

Unfortunately, we were not able to host our annual Awards Ceremony this year for public health reasons, but did organise for this year's winning artworks (126 in total) to be exhibited at the Highlanes Gallery in Drogheda, Co. Louth from 14th September to 2nd October (inclusive).

In relation to presentation of Awards, all of the category winners' certificates and prizes were sent directly to the winning artists concerned.

We'd also like to congratulate those artists who have been awarded a certificate of commendation by our judging panel.  Their names may be viewed here, listed in alphabetical order by surname.  Well done to all recipients of this award.  Your certificate will be with you shortly.
